Modifying Exsiting Backups

How does Veeam function if I have an existing back up job, and I we add a new disk to the VM that is part of that job, and I include that disk to be backed up. Let's say I am 4 restore points in and using forever incrementals.

Since the full was created 4 restore points ago, is it is still creating a full copy of the new disk?

Any help would be appreciated.
