Move all backups to new target cifs share

I just installed a DataDomain DD860. I am currently backing up to a cifs share on a quantum dxi7500 which we are decomissioning. I want to move all existing backups from the dxi7500 cifs share to the DD860 cifs share. Is this possible without skipping a beat?

Absolutely, just move them there physically, and update destination in backup job settings. Simple as that!
