move backup file to an other repository
Hello,
I know this is a "dumb" question but how can I moove my backup date from the Dxi to a linux repository ?
I need to change my backup repository from Dxi to linux and I totally ignore how I can transfert data except for SSH and copy maybe ?
I would like to know if there is a better method for it ?
Thanks

Re: move backup file to an other repository
If you find a way, you will loose storage savings.
Each vbk will be dehydrated. There is no way to copy the backups and keep the deduplication.
I don‘t know dxi, and it‘s capabilities.
You can try to use veeam todo the copy:

Re: move backup file to an other repository
@Mildur
Shame on me...
I totally ignore we can do the copy directly from Veeam with "copy / paste"...
Really thanks for this advice
on each case I suppose my data will be rehydrated but my old customer infrastructure was : production -> dxi. Now it's production -> linux hardened -> Dxi.
I need to moove Veeam agent backup from remote site on the Dxi to the linux to avoid full backup with his slow bandwith.
@foggy I knew how to do the migration but thanks for the answer and the link !

Re: move backup file to an other repository
Your welcome
I had once used it to transfer data to a customer.
From the cloud repo to his environment
