Move Replication Job to another server
I am currently running a replication job that replicates our VMs from ESXSRV01 (primary ESX server) to ESXSRV02 (at our DR site). The replication job is currently managed through Veeam on BACKUPS01 server at our primary site. I want to move the replication job to BACKUPS02 server located at our DR site as this would be best practice in a disaster scenario. I'm just wondering how I can go about setting up the replication job through the Veeam install on the backup server located at our DR site without having to do an initial replication. The replicas are already on the ESX server at the DR site.

Re: Move Replication Job to another server
You need to:
- Re-create a replication job on a new server
- Use replica mapping functionality
This way initial replication sync will be incremental.
Thanks!

Re: Move Replication Job to another server
Thank you very much. I was able to get this to work based on your suggestion.
