Move server from one job to another

Is there a specific procedure to move a server that is currently being backed up in JobA to JobB without loss of restore points or backup data?

You need to remove a VM from previous job and add it to the new one. The previously created backups will be preserved in accordance for the duration of deleted VM retention period. Thanks.
