Move the Default Repository

Post by tthomas1@ebsco.com »

Can the default repository be moved? After Veeam B&R installation, it ended up a drive I don't want it on. There's nothing on it yet. I just want to move it from a C to a D drive.

Well I answered my own question! Those are the best :). In case anyone searches this, I discovered you can create a new repository, choose on the last screen to "import existing backups/index", and at the end it will ask you if you want to move the configuration backup to the new repository. Then I deleted the default.

Hi Tim, you would also need to re-point your existing jobs, if any. Here are the complete instructions. Thanks!

Thanks foggy! In my case I discovered the fix before I'd even run a backup once so there was nothing to move, but that's a good note to include in case someone searches and finds this topic.
