Moved VM to new Data Store. Will Veeam job fail?

Post by frostbit »

We have just moved a large VM from one data store to a new data store. I have a backup job for this virtual server but it hasnt run since we did the move. What should I do for Veeam so my job runs without having to do a syntetic full again?

How exactly did you move the VM? Answer will depend on that.

A new data store was created on the SAN and the files were migrated with vShere.

In this case you do not need to reconfigure your backup job, the following backup job run will be incremental.
