Hi
I am planning to migrate the backup for our MSSQL databases onto veeam. Actually I couldn't answer the following two questions:
- is there somewhere a report where I can see which databases are backed up and which are not, if there were failures? Our database admins want to have such a report...
- what permissions are required in minimum on the sql server/database to be able to backup and restore databases?
thx and regards
sandsturm

Re: MSSQL database backup, monitoring and permissions
1.) You can configure notifications in your backup job where you have enabled the SQL Server transaction log backup - This is under Storage, Advanced. Your DBA will receive a report that looks like this:
2.) Here's a few links from the Veeam HelpCenter that would be useful to you when running SQL backup with Veeam Backup & Replication 9.5 (latest version)

[*]Required Permissions - https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... tml?ver=95
