Multiple Console Sessions Veeam 5.0

We are unable to RDP into our Veeam Backup server and open the veeam console if another user has it opened via his RDP session. We have been able to do this in all previous versions. Is this a known issue or is there a work around?

This was never possible, even with previous versions... no, there is no workaround.

Maybe that was never possible, but we did it all the time in v4

I was quite surprised when a collegue mentioned that he could not start the v5 console as long as I was using it.

Hi Marco, check out Release Notes for 5.0.1, under Resolved Issues > User interface

I think this should be the default and supported behavior in the next update, the release notes should include the setting to enable this or it should be a check box to go back to the old v4 behavior. I just had a customer that wasn't happy about the change.
