Need advice and/ or feedback if the below is a good practice.
I have Veeam B&R 9.5 update 2 at two different sites (Site A and Site B). Both sites manage their own respective environments. I want to store Veeam Configuration backup files for Site A offsite to Site B and vice versa. I was thinking of creating a CIFS repository at Site A that maps to a shared folder at Site B. This shared folder (CIFS repository) at Site B will be created on a repository already used for disk backups at the local site.
Will there be any adverse effects with nesting a CIFS repository in a repository used for disk backups by another backup server?
Thanks.

Re: Nest CIFS Repository in another backup repository
Hi Andrew, you should be fine with this setup provided the CIFS repository will point to it's own separate folder on the storage.
