Hi All,
does anyone know if you can use Veeam to backup an exchange server whose volumes are integrated with Snap Drive as opposed to VMFS volumes? Thanks for your answer.

Re: NetAPP SnapDrive & Veeam Backup
Hello Andreas,
Thank you for the interesting question.
Could you please clarify you set up? Does Exchange Server is using LUNs presented from the NetApp SnapDrive - or you have SnapDrive installed on Exchange Server to manage the existing volumes?
Thank you.

Re: NetAPP SnapDrive & Veeam Backup
Andreas,
Thank you for the clarification. In this case you got volumes attached to VM thru the iSCSI directly it would not be possible to backup such with Veeam. For the detailed clarification - please take a look at this post for the detailed explanation > RDMs explained for Veeam Backup & Replication
Thank you.
