Network Mode with ESX(i) 4.1

Hi,

Alot of people found network mode slow due to vmware limitations, i would just like to comment that since upgrading to 4.1 i can confirm that network mode is really faster! Im doing some testing which means i can only use NBD mode,i am seeing atleast 50% improvement over ESX v4.0 so looks like Vmware have actually fixed this speed throttling issue.

Maybe if you do use this mode then upgrading to VB 4.1.2 and esx(i) v4.1 is you answer.

Full esx... normally as you know the speed used to be capped at around 20 mb/s even on vm`s with first pass in this mode im getting upto 60 mb/s which is very good and then on subsequent passes even higher.

I see. It sounds like VMware has ended up merging the fix into the code.
