new 6.1 gui sluggish
I'm finding the new gui sluggish. When clicking on various items it takes 5-10 seconds on average for the change, sometimes closer to 30 seconds. Any thoughts on how to improve performance? Using the default SQL Express for the database. Have 4 processors and 4 Gb of RAM assigned. Server isn't being used for any proxy tasks, just as the job manager.

It might just be you...
I've noticed that not only is it quite quick... but it seems to now cache the members of a VSphere server so that when you go to add VM's you dont have to wait for Veeam to poll the vSphere server.

Craig, please let our support take a look - either this is some unknown bug, or SQL server issue. Generally speaking, we have tested the UI against very large environments (400 hosts).

Re: new 6.1 gui sluggish
Lead UI dev told me he saw similar sluggishness only when there was an issue with the SQL server (SQL was taking up to 15 sec to execute any SQL query).

Re: new 6.1 gui sluggish
Issue definately seems to be SQL related. New 6.1 install. Specs as follows:
Veeam Server : 4vCPU 4GB RAM
2 x Proxies : 4vCPU 4GB RAM each
1 repository (Multiple drives / repositories within same OS) : 4vCPU 8GB RAM
External SQL Server : 4vCPU 8GB RAM (SQL 2005)
All virtual machines
Environment contains around 400 VM's. We see the repository using a lot of RAM when maximum jobs run concurrently. UI Performance seems to degrade over time. When SQL was first checked, memory usage was around 4GB. Now maxed out, paging away, and the Veeam console is hanging.
Going to log a call, will respond with updates as they become available.
