New Veeam Enterprise Manager

Post by oli4 »

Hello

I have an existing Veeam B+R Console Server with Enterprise Manager installed on it.

I have now setup a new Enterprise Manager with new DB on another server.

Is there an easy way to repoint my B+R server to this new EM? I dont need any date
from the old EM.

Hi Oli,

In this case, you may simply disconnect the VBR server from the existing EM and add it to the new EM.

Thanks

Hello,

Can't you remove the actual link between EM and VBR and then connect your VBR to the new EM ?

Just for your reference, there is also a KB that explains how to migrate or in your case split the EM.

You're right and it's perfectly working I used it 1 month ago but in this case, he said he didn't want to migrate so I didn't link it ^^
