Next Run and End Time

Post by hkkasan »

Hello,

Current I am evaluating the backup solution for my company.
Veeam is install on Windows 2008 server. ESX, Windows and guest OS times zone are set at GMT +8.
I found that the Veeam Next Run on jobs folder and the End Time of the sessions folder will not use the user GMT setting of windows but use GMT -8 instead.

For example, my time zone on windows is GMT+8 (the default time zone was changed from US GMT -8)

About Next run time:
My backup job folder the next run time show 2011-01-15 2:33:35AM but the actual run is at 2011-01-15 6:33:35PM. (-16 hours backward)
If I try to edit the properties of the job, click Next... and then Finish. The Next Run time is correct but wait for around 10 second it will automatically change back to 2011-01-15 2:33:35AM again.

About End time:
The backup job will be finished around 1 minutes since the size is small.
My start time of backup at session folder is 2011-01-15 12:31PM and the End time is 2011-01-16 4:32AM (+16 hours forward)
The start time is correct but end time isn't.

Do anyone have this problem when the GMT time other than -8?
Thank you.
Alexey D.

Hello Michael,

Have you restarted B&R service after changing time zone settings?
Also, which version of B&R are you using?
