I don't get why I'm all of a sudden getting this error when all I've done is turn on parallel processing.
I have one backup job that contains 156 VM's. I have one physical proxy that can run 8 tasks at a time configured and dedicated as the proxy for this job. The backup repository is also located on this physical proxy.
As soon as I turn on parallel processing, I start getting errors on random VM's within the job and they don't back up.
Hello Jonathan,
The issue usually appears when proxy server don`t have access to the source datastore. What transport method are you using?
Have you tried to contact Veeam technical support as suggested when face a technical error? Thanks!

That can't be the case because the exact same job runs fine with parellel processing mode off. It's hitting the same VM's in the same way in both scenarios but it's doing more than once with parallel processing mode on. Not yet with support, figured I would post quickly here and get a ticket open when I have time here shortly.
The described behavior seems unexpected, so yes, the best way is to contact the support team. Once you do, please post your support case number here.
Thanks!

How many proxy servers are being used? What proxy mode selection is specified in the job settings? Automatic or manual one? Can you double check whether the very same proxy has been used in both cases (parallel processing on/off). Thanks.

1 Proxy server, it's physical
Direct SAN only, manual.
Same proxy being used when parallel is on and when it is off.
Again, the job runs fine, zero errors with parellel off using this proxy. Turn it on, proxy is the same, I start getting these errors on tons of VM's.
