We're still testing SQL backups with Veeam, and we are backing up SQL transaction logs every two hours. My problem is, when I go to restore a database, it does not give me a Point-in-Time restore option. Looking at the backup, it shows we have the transaction log backup with a number of restore points. Also, when I look at the Veeam SQL explorer log, it shows the databases which have a Recovery model of "Full", and those with "Simple". However, under the "loading storage data" section for the server, all databases, Full and Simple, say the "Point-in-Time restore will not be available". All databases on a given server don't have to be in "Full" recovery model for Point-in-time restore of any particular database, do they?
Thanks.

Re: No Point-in-Time log restore
Hi Paul, this is unexpected behaviour. Normally the full recovery model databases should be visible. Please contact support for insight to see what is causing this behaviour.
