NO RECOVERY option for EM - Case # 05324815

Hello,
in enterprise manager is missing no recovery option by SQL

if backup of VM of HA are backed up by veeam with option a copy only or “do not truncate” backup
and transaction logs are managed by log shipping of SQL
then restore combination with veeam of DB and logs from SQL are not possible, only with NO RECOVERY option, which is available only by explorer, where are missing api calls to automate that from our side

so no recovery option for EM for SQL and oracle is very good option

Hi Marcel,

Basically, the main goal of Enterprise Manager restore wizard is to cover most common scenarios and we try to keep it simple. Your scenario is quite specific one which fits Explorer's tasks better, however I think that this idea is very interesting and I noted your request. We'll consider it for future versions but I cannot comment on ETA.

And just FYI: you need to provide a support case ID only in case of the technical issue, it is not required for the questions regarding best practices and for feature requests.
