I am in the process of Installing Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and I am and 1 hour in the same step .

Hello Adrian!

Looks like your VM meets the basic requirements.
Do you have any SQL servers already installed on the VM?

Thanks!

Just curious what version(build number) did you have a problem with?

Is it the same version you installed before? Thanks!

Adrian, Are you sure the build number is 8.0.0.11?

The release versions are:
RTM version: 8.0.0.807
GA version: 8.0.0.817
Latest build: 8.0.0.2030 > Update 2b

Not sure what could cause the delay, probably installation logs can tell something.

Hi Foggy

I do not know why but but it is already installed and running.

The type of virtual machine is similar in differents labs.......same type vhd, same memmory ram, processors.....
although on occasion putting minimum requirements ( 2GB vs 4GB Ram ram for example) and works best.

From what I gather it can be for the physical server computer where it is hosted VM Veeam what you do to lower the performance

Thanks for help

Actually you should not have any problems installing VBR on any physical or virtual machine that meets system requirements.
If you have any troubles, please contact the technical support team.
