Hi

In VBR I note that under general backup options there is a notification setup, there is also one under each job.

How do there interact.

if I setup for the global one to only send when there is an error and I set 1 job so that it emails when it succeeds. so does it get merged or ?

yes, it gets merged. The more specific job-setting overrides the global setting.
