Number of rollbacks to keep won't delete old backups

Hi, we have problem with few of our backup jobs. When we select number of rollbacks from advanced. It won't delete our old backup files. I have selected 7 rollbacks to keep, and now when I check to backup folder there is 30 files. I have to delete files manually every now and then. What is causing this problem?

Are you by chance using forward incremental backups? If so, have you chosen to create either a synthetic full or a traditional full at some interval? If not, Veeam will never delete any backups since it needs a new full to start a new chain.

Tom, actually UI won't allow saving configuration with both synthetic and active full backups disabled... so most likely there is something else here.
