Office 365 compatible for "Export to .pst" in Veeam Explorer for Exchange

Hello together,

in the user guide of the Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange it says a requirement to use the "Export to .pst" function is a installed 64-bit version of Office 2010 - 2019 on the Server. Would a installed Office 365 Version also work or does it have to be one of the "numbered" versions? We only have licenses for Office 365 (Business Premium), so this would be the easiest for us to use.

I see no reason why it could fail... did you see any issues? I will also talk to the documentation team, I guess it's a documentation issue.

Hello Hannes,

I have not attempted it yet, since it was not mentioned in the documentation.
Currently there is no Office installed on the server, so I got the message that it's needed when I wanted to export Mails from Backup to a pst. Then I looked in the documentation and found the requirement of 64-bit Office and saw no mention of 365 ,so I thought I'd ask first if it is possible.

Hello,
yes, the error says "Outlook 2010 or newer". It's only the text in the user guide. I tested it. It just works :-)
