offline / online LUN by Disk Management

I have a quastion:

In de past a have create a veeam backup and restore server with ESX LUN's connected. I can use the fast backup option SAN.

I have always used the online option in disk management. I believe i have been lucky that i never lossed some LUN's .

Those someone used the online setting in Deskmamanger?

Simply bringing the LUN online does not corrupt anything, but disk initialization does. Since VBR automatically disables disk automount during installation, this prevents disks from being initialized.
