One or multiple repositories

Post by Thrawn »

Hello,

We recently migrated our server Veeam 5 to Veeam 6.

Previously, we used to create a folder for each backup job.

With Veeam 6, the subfolder for the job is automatically created in the backup repository.

My question is :

- We use only one 10TB NTFS partition for our backups. Is it useful to create multiple repositories (one per job) ? Or it is better to use only one?

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Sincerely,
Pierre.

Pierre, no need to have multiple repositories if they all point to the same share. You can use the following procedure to transform multiple repositories into a single one.
