Operation Statistics VEEAM Enterprise Manager report

Post by adriani »

Hello. Could someone please provide detiled explanation about figures shown in then Operation Statistics report in VEEAM Enterprise Manager?
The explanations ginve in the https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=100are very brief. In paticular, iI would like to understand:
1- Figures shown in the image data block.
2- How throughput shown in the chart compares to "processing speed" shown in image data block.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hello,
I edited your post and added "Manager" to make it easier to read.

The two data blocks include values about all backups (not only last 24h or last 7 days). I guess that's the question?

Processing speed is calculated of the "processing rate" of the jobs. It is shown in the job statistics in the VBR console.

'Processing speed' here is an average processing rate value for all tasks performed within the selected period (24 hours or 7 days) summed up for all Veeam B&R servers. 'Full backups' is the number of full backups created during that period, 'Restore points' - the number of increments.

Thank you very much for your answer but I am confussed.
HannesK says:The two data blocks include values about all backups (not only last 24h or last 7 days). I guess that's the question?
foggy says:'Processing speed' here is an average processing rate value for all tasks performed within the selected period (24 hours or 7 days) s

Both this seem to contradict. Do they represent figureds form the last 24h o(or 7 dyas) or not?

Moreover, I get a processing rate number (60Mbs) which is very much lower than what is seen in the chart (> 1000 MB/s), so I do not understand the relashionship between the "processing rate" and the chart, even though the processing rate in the data block would seem to be an average of the throughput shown on the chart.

sorry, my post was not precise enough. the processing speed in an exception in the two blocks.

I did not calculate everything, but if I scroll though the jobs, then the values for last 24h look okay for me. If the difference is as massive as you mention, I suggest to check with support.

In the chart you can see spikes of the max throughput but the average value might be lower. Note that all the tasks are taken into account and the average rate between them is displayed. Agree, if you feel something is wrong, please check with support.
