Hi,
We have an Oracle server running on a Linux VM. We are not using RMAN plugin. We also don't want to use Veeam agent for Linux.
Can i backup the whole Oracle server virtual machine and enable the Application-Aware Processing? Does Application-Aware processing works on Oracle running on Linux?
Thanks,

Re: Oracle DB on Linux VM
Hello,
yes, that's the use-case for most customers. It's from the time, when we went out with the "agentless" messaging
Best regards,
Hannes
