Oracle redo logs backup 0B

Post by marieelieg »

Hello exports,

I have a backup containing 2 oracle VMs with app aware and archivelog backup enabled (https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... l?ver=95u4). The VM backup is successful and the archive log backup shows no errors. However, 1 of the VMs shows "Backed up 0.0 B of redo logs for 0 databases" (check picture: https://1drv.ms/u/s!Ak2idN-r66LUgVWy-L8qt6JVuaSq).

What does this mean? Is this behavior normal? Are the archive logs being backed up?

Appreciate your feedback and thanking you in advance.

I have a similar issue on a physical server. I get the below message
"Error occurred while performing Oracle redo log backup Details: Sequence contains no matching element"
The issue is the execution of the statement
alter system archive log all;
Case # 03570533
We are not using RMAN.
