parallel processing

Post by odge »

It seems the parallel processing goes flat out on threading itself. Just to confirm what throttles how many threads (or tasks as we will call them from now on). Is it the max concurrent jobs handled by the proxies?

Also, if your backup repository cannot keep up with the load really bad, new tasks will not be assigned to it even if task slots on repository are available. However, this will be reflected in the job's session log, so not something that the job will do quietly.
