Folks,
We have a physical server with a scale-out repository where we put all the backup copies, and it is also used as the tape server. We are using the local Administrator account when accessing that server. If I change the password for that account, and then change the password in the credential for that server in B&R, will everything work as before? When I choose "Manage Credentials" in the console and choose that particular credential, or any credential for that matter, it says "Credentials are currently in use on at least one object. Continue anyway?"
Could I just ignore that message and change the password for that specific credential?

Re: Password change
Hi PJ
Yes, this is completely possible to do
You can safely ignore the message if you are sure where you are using the credentials.
1. Change password on your windows server
2. Change password within Veeam in the credentials manager
3. Go through the wizard for the server in question under "BACKUP INFRASTRUCTURE" and make sure the new credentials work (Just next-next-finish)
