I'm interested in using VB&R but my environment uses rotated passwords from a special vault.
Veeam software will need to either query the password server for credentials or the password server must have a means to inform Veeam software whenever a service account password has been updated.
Has anyone done this?
We write a lot of integration software and aren't afraid to dig in if there's any sort of Veeam API available.
Thanks,

Re: Password server integration?
Hi Will, if you are talking about vCenter password, then this may be possible with PowerShell script using our PowerShell SDK (see User Guide for more information). You can certainly add new vCenter server to B&R with PowerShell script, but I am not 100% sure if you can update existing vCenter server (which is what you want to do here). So, I would suggest to try digging in this direction for now. Alternatively, I can talk to our PowerShell SDK developer about this in a week, after all holidays are over. Thanks!
