Pauses in Replication Jobs When Starting Next VMDK

Post by JeffHengesbach »

What I'm seeing looks like stalls or pauses during replication jobs - often 8-15+ minutes long. After the "Creating helper snapshot" step, the "Hard Disk X (YZ GB)... " step(s) starts and very consistently 8-15+ minutes will pass with no progress (no network activity, no disk IO). Anyone seen this - it is 'artificially' stretching out my replication times in big way?

Jeff, the easiest way to understand why it is happening is to look through the job log. Please contact our support team for assistance with this. Thanks!
