Re: Permission of Veeam agent install
Hi
If you use protection groups to install the Veeam agent for Windows, the account must have administrative permissions.
To install Veeam Agent for Linux, root or an account with sudo permission is required.
You can also use a protection group of type "Computers with pre-installed agents". In that case, you don't need to provide any credentiuals in the VBR console. But you have to deploy the agents by yourself.
Thanks
Fabian
