We are planning to do replication between client and our datacenter. I wanted to know what are the specific permissions (on source and target ESX Servers) that an account needs to replicate a vm (and not use the root/admin account).
Thanks,

Re: Permissions for Veeam Replication
Hello Zulfi,
You need root permissions. Please find more information in User Guide, page 29.

Re: Permissions for Veeam Replication
Note that you can use non-root account, and do not specify root password - if you add it to sudoers file manually (UI does provide this option). Otherwise, you will have to provide root account password (whether or not you are adding server as root, or other user).
