A short question on permissions with integrated storage systems
I have a customer that at present has an HPE nimble integrated into Veeam. Recently they complained they couldn't see any new snapshots being made. On investigation I discovered the account they were using had the 2FA enabled. I disabled it and the snaps became visible. I explained this to them that they need to disable this to observe the snaps. They were unhappy about this as this is an admin account as advised in the install instructions. Would it be possible to change this to a guest account which only has read privilidges after the install. The install guide advises to have an admin or power user account but I was wondering if after the install I could change it to a read only account to make the snaps visible in Veeam and give them a better feeling. I could just try but I though to ask first as maybe there is a less obvious disadvantage.

Re: permissions with integrated storage system HPE Nimble
Let them try the 'operator' role on Nimble. It should allow them to see the snapshots (but also create them, FYI). The 'guest' role doesn't allow to see the snapshots.
