I have a B&R installed in a restricted VLAN to sort of "air gap" it from everything. Let's call this VLAN BackupNet. My main LAN is just LAN.
I currently have firewall rules only allowing TCP 10005 and TCP 2500-3000 from the LAN to the BackupNet, but currently have everything allowed from the BackupNet to the LAN. I want to lock that down.
What ports are required from the BackupNet to the LAN so I can tighten things up?

Re: Ports from VLAN to LAN
Hi Northguard
The required ports are documented here (vSphere).
I recommend to go through the list and decide which ports are required for your environment. It depends on things like which proxy types you are using and in subnet they are located or what type of backup repositories you have.
You must also consider other products like VEM, VONE, Veeam Agents if you use them.
And there are also the ports for application aware processing and for the Restore with the Veeam Explorers.
