Hi

I am running a small network (1 x Hyper-V Server and 1 x Repository\Veeam Server) and was wondering if someone could help me open the minimum inbound\outbound ports required on each server to allow backups to work.

I have seen the KB regarding this, but don't think this is very clear.

I am not running a WAN accelerator or anything unusual.

Also, if anyone has any further tips on securing the Veeam server, I would appreciate hearing them

Could you please clarify which kb exactly you are referring to? Maybe we could take a look what has to be improved to make it more clear.

We have the used ports description in helpcenter.
As for securing the server, the Best practice guide might help you.
