Ports used for SharePoint restores

Post by timmi2704 »

Hi together, I'd like to restore SharePoint items in a DMZ environment.
Therefore, port forwarding needs to be configured. Unfortunately, Veeams user guide for this explorer is not clear here, which ports are used.
I understand, that 1433 is used for staging SQL server connection. But which way is used for pushing the items/lists/sites into the production environment?
Any idea, which ports are used apart from SQL?

Thanks a lot :D

According to our QA team Web application port should be sufficient to do the restore in a DMZ environment.

We will also update our documentation to reflect port requirements. Thanks!
