Possible Bug: Password Last Changed entry

Post by Lukas-K »

Dear forum,

My customers are using VBR v12.1.2.172 and it seems that a bug occures:
I think this might be a bug:
If I change a password within Veeam (Main menu -> Credentials -> Encryption Passwords) the "Last Edited" value within the GUI is not updated. The change could be verified successfully but the GUI does not reset the counter.

VeeamONE is able to provide correct values but it seems that the VBR GUI does not update the value which can be irritating for customers who do not use VeeamONE.

Case #07352462 — Password Last Changed entry does not change

Any ideas on that?

Thanks in advance!
Lukas

Hi Lukas,

Thank you for your post and for sharing the case number; I see that the case was just opened quite recently, so let's allow Support time to review the situation, as we won't be able to troubleshoot over the forums.

Checking the case, I don't see logs attached, so please export logs from the Veeam Server itself and add them to the case. Use the 3rd radio button, select the Veeam Server, and allow the export to complete.

Thanks!

Hi David,

I already received an answer from the Support team and they got a Private Fix for me.

All done, thanks!

Glad to hear it was that simple and that we had a fix already ready :) Thanks for letting us know the results.
