Hi Engineers,
We are facing an issue with B&R on a Windows 2008 server. The backup is running for too long now, and we are really looking for a solution now
A screenshot of the issue:
Anybody? Thanks!

Hi,
Please provide some more information on your configuration: what is your VBR version? Also please briefly describe your use case.
Thank you.

Hi PTide,
Thanks for the fast reply.
We are running B&R version 8.0. The software only replicates three VM's to a second physical disk which has enough free disk space.

Version 8.0.0.2030 and total data ( 3 VMs ): 856GB
The backups are written to a datastore which exists on a QNAP. It has 800GB free with a total of 1,8TB. This datastore is connected to vSphere.
BTW, the backup worked for several weeks. Suddenly we the backup won't finish, as you could see in the first post.

What is the size of the vir.disk being processed for 10 hours on the screenshot? Does the hot-add stage ever finish or you just cancel the job? Any error messages?
Also I'm interested - what is your production storage?

I think the fact that something suddenly's stopped working is a valid reason to open a case with support. Please post your case ID here when you do.
Thank you.

I have the same issue for one of our 350 VMs. Have you found a solution, or should I write to support?

Claus, I'd recommend opening a case, since in your particular case the issue could be caused by different circumstances.
