Prescript Timeout v9

Post by reaperhammer »

I know the prescript timeout in v8 was reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication" /v PreJobScriptTimeoutSec /t REG_DWORD /d 18000
Is this the same for v9? I remember reading somewhere it was not going to be the same in v9 but I cant find anything about it now and rather than log a case I thought I would check the forum first :)

[MERGED] pre/post script timeout settings

Post by fgw »

trying to increase timeout of pre freeze script

in previous versions (some time ago) there was PreJobScriptTimeoutSec under

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Veeam\Veeam Backup and Replication

is this not available with V11 anymore?
was this changed and is now in a different place?
do i need to restart B&R service in order to activate changed settings? (well, rebooted server anyway)
whats the min/max value that can be specified here? (didnt test, but 600sec was default in the past)

ps. same questions for post freeze script:
PostJobScriptTimeoutSec was the registry setting here

thanks if anybody knows ...

Hello,
it's still the same key. Please check with support if it's not working and post the case number here for reference.

Best regards,
Hannes
