Problem disabling Administrator user when logging in to Veeam Bakcup
Hi. Time to login to Veeam Backup If I check the "Use Windows session authentication" option , I can log in to Veeam Backup with my Windows Server Administrator. I created another user inside Windows Server and added it via the "Users and Roles" menu in Veeam Backup. Now I want to disable the default Administrator user that Veeam Backup can login with and only be able to login to Veeam Backup with the new user I added. How to disable the default Administrator user in Veeam Backup?

Re: Problem disabling Administrator user when logging in to Veeam Bakcup
Hello and welcome to the community forums aria,
It's impossible to remove the admin access from Veeam B&R console, moreover built-in administrator accounts (Domain\Administrator and Machine\Administrator) always have full access in Veeam Backup & Replication, even if you exclude them from all Veeam Backup & Replication roles. Mind me asking why you need that? Thank you in advance!

Re: Problem disabling Administrator user when logging in to Veeam Bakcup
In case you're trying to protect against Local Administrator: this is impossible. There's no protection against the root user! These guys have full privileges on the actual server, so any software-level protection like Roles is completely useless against them, as they can always bypass it.
