Problem with SQL Express when installing Veeam Backup 4.1.2

Hi all,

I try to install VBR on a new W2K8 SP2 VM.
The VM is fresh Windows.
We installed autosnapshot manager for Windows (to access an equallogic array).
During the install, I get the message " unable to install a new SQL Server Instance".
I tried several times, but it seems there is a "ghost instance" : nothing SQL exists, but when I run the install, it proposes me to use a localhost/sqlserverexpress instance.

Do you have any idea ?

Hello Sebastien, please try using another VM with clean OS install. You will have no issues if you do it this way. Thanks!
