Problems with B&R Console (Case #07997613)

Post by DWeuve »

I recently upgraded to Veeam Backup & Replication version 13.0.1.1071. I noticed some things about the console that I consider problems.

The first is the focus. When I have the list of jobs and I look at the details, the list of jobs resets to show the top of the list instead of the staying focused on the selected job on the list.

The second is the detail window. When I double click on the job to look at the details, the window opens on the primary screen, regardless of the location of the console. I figure it should open where the console is currently running.

I brought this up when I opened the case 07997613 and they suggested that I bring this up in the R&D forums.

Hi DWeuve,

Sorry to hear you faced this; good news is that it has been reported and we will correct the behavior in an upcoming release.

For this, I don't see it discussed on the case, but to ensure I got it right, you are using multiple monitors, the Remote Console is active on a secondary monitor, and double-clicking a job to see the job details will open details on the primary monitor?
