Hello,
When attempting to backup from my local devices to my local NAS, the software is showing 3-5/mbps which is insanely slow. If I manually drag and drop, from and to the same devices, its 500-800 mbps. I have checked all spots where an option to throttle exists and none are in use. how do I speed this up? It took 15 hours to backup 1 device.
What can I do to fix this issue?
Case# 05444180
Thanks,
Angela

Re: Processing rate help
Hi Angela,
The first thing you should pay attention to is the "bottleneck" statistics shown by the backup job, please refer to this page for more information about performance bottlenecks. The next step would be to carry out performance testing on the specific problematic stage. Also, I wouldn't try to compare drag&drop speed with backup speed because drag&drop and backup are two completely different processes. However, I agree that 3-5 mbps is very slow and it must be analyzed by our support team. Let's wait for what our engineers can find out.
Thanks!
