Pssible to use old Backups on new installed Server ?

Hi !!

I have a big problem.

After new installation of VMware Virtual Center Server Appliance 6 my Backups wont run anymore.

I corrected the Vcenter Server and all jobs. But no way.

Restore also don't work anymore, the host entry with the old vcenter server with the new doesn't work.

So my question:

ist it possible to install a new veeam server and install new (the same jobs) jobs and connect them under storage to the old backup files?

Hi, yes it is possible to map jobs into the existing backup. However, if you re-installed vCenter, your VMs will have new unique IDs assigned, and such mapping will only be possible with the help of our customer support. Thanks!
