Publish Veeam Enterprise Manager Portal

Post by mats.jansson »

Hi
We are a service provider and using Veeam Backup 8 and want to publish the Enterprise Manager portal on the internet for our customers.
We have tried to publish the portal behind our reverse proxy whith no luck.
I can´t find any documentation about how to publish the site external.

You need to configure public IP address for Backup Enterprise Manager in the IIS or configure NAT to route traffic to the internal address of the IIS website. Thanks!

We are using nat. Are there any special configuration that has to be done on the iis or webconfig?
Does Veeam have any guide to publish the site?

I don't think we have any guides on this, since steps to publish any website to the internet should be the same/common for any application.

Take a look at this link for more info > http://forums.iis.net/t/1156482.aspx?He ... on+the+net

Hi Mat,

I am wondering if you solved your challenge. I too have a similar challenge - looks like Enterprise Manager is sensitive to Reverse Proxies and is responding with a HTTP 304 (Not Modified), then our RP responds with a 404.

Looks like it's at the IIS on the VEM Server, and the IIS Site VEM automatically, might log a case with VEEAM.

Can't PM (new user) - please respond / PM if you have any further feedback,

Thanks, Alex.
