[Feature Request] Pure Storage Plugin - No VMware snapshot required

We have many Microsoft Failover clusters with shared disks on SCSI controllers configured for physical bus sharing. This prevents the use of VMware level snapshots. Today we have to backup these guests with agents. We would like to back them up from Pure storage snapshots instead of using agents, we had hoped the pure storage plugin would make this possible, but it still requires a "helper" VMware level snapshot to collect CBT information before taking the pure storage snapshot.

Hi Wayne, thanks for your request. Indeed, VMware storage integration still requires vSphere snapshots to get the proper VM state for backup (unless you're doing snapshot-only jobs). Currently, the only way to backup configurations using SCSI bus sharing is via Veeam Agent for Windows without storage integration.
