Question about designing

Hi all,

I have a question about a designing, I have a FC storage EMC connected to my Veeam backup physical server. Can I migrate configuration veeam server to a virtual machine and let this physical server just for a proxy to save backups inside? Is this possible? Is veeam capable to save VMs backups into a storage that is connected to a physical server that is not the backup&replication server with the jobs?
