Question about NFR Instance licensing for home lab

Post by MasterWayZ »

Hi,

I'm new to the forums, so please excuse me if I make a mistake anywhere.

Currently, I hold a 20 instance NFR license on my Veeam B&R server. I use all 20 instances to backup lab virtual machines. These virtual machines are on one vCenter but spread across three different hosts in three different physical locations. (One host is at home, two others are dedicated servers I rent for my home lab.)

Is there a way to maybe be able to back-up more lab infrastructure VMs? Currently I'm on the 20 instance limit and I'm not sure what to do now.

Hello,

NFR license is limited to 20 instances.

You can only get a larger NFR license if your company is a Veeam partner, for this you should contact your Veeam representative.

Thanks!

[MERGED] NFR licenses for partners

Post by sandroalves »

Hi,

I know that I can use NFR licenses to lab up to 20 servers directly on the Veem website.

If I become a partner at Veem, will I receive an NFR license as well? Can anyone tell me how many servers we can protect using this NFR license?

Thanks.

Hello,

You can get NFR license here. Please keep in mind that NFR license is distributed for evaluation or demonstration purposes only per our licensing policy. Cheers!

Hi Sandro,
Yes, you will have bigger license if you partner with Veeam. Please contact your Veeam representative.
Thank you.
P.S. Company name is Veeam :)
