Hi,
Sorry for this silly question but I cannot find it anywhere. Scenario: VMWARE ESX1 in produccion with 3 VM. Veeam B&R installed and replicating over a second ESX2 on-site.
In order to get the replication form the VMs on the ESX1, what is the VMs status on the ESX2? I guess that they have to be Powered ON but with Network Cable Unplugged, right? Or thay can be Powered Off ? Can they be replicated in that state?
Many thanks!

Re: Question about VMs on ESX replicated
Not sure I fully understand your question. Replica VMs residing on the ESX2 host are always powered off until you perform a failover or turn them on manually.
